Medical Programs
Obesity can cause many related health problems and diseases that may require medical attention. Our physicians recognize these conditions and monitor changes in your health as your weight changes. On our safe, rapid weight loss programs, patients typically lose a significant amount of weight quickly. Therefore, we require that patients are medically supervised to reduce health risks and to adjust the program, as necessary.
All of our medical programs include lifestyle and/or behavioral education in the form of group classes or on a one-on-one basis to educate and provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary for you to lose weight and keep it off. Our counselors will provide insights and knowledge for you to make realistic lifestyle changes that can and will last a lifetime. Our 24-week rotation of classes includes the following topics: Emotional Eating, Eating Out, Cooking Quick & Light, Food Label Reading, Making your Home Healthy, Building Support, Exercise Techniques and Stress Management.
Whether your goal is to lose 30 or 100 pounds, we ensure balanced nutrition throughout your program. A registered dietitian for one-on-one meal planning and sound nutrition advice sees every medical patient. Our programs include grocery store food, meal replacement bars and shakes or a combination of all of the above. Regardless of what you choose, a dietitian will help customize a plan that is right for you.
Even though taking the weight off isn’t always easy, keeping it off is often tougher. That's why most of our programs incorporate a lifetime of support to help you maintain your success. Those programs allow participatnts to have ongoing group support and continued education at zero additional expense.
